Residential Indoor Air Program (RIAP) – Program Status

The Residential Indoor Air Program kicked off in August 2025. Mailings have been sent to eligible properties, and we are excited to begin providing air purifiers to our neighbors. Here is a little more information about the program.

The Program is providing Alen BreatheSmart FLEX Units.

Alen is an Austin-based manufacturer of top-rated HEPA air purification products.

These air purifiers:

  • Provide a medical-grade H13 HEPA filter that captures 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns
  • Run quietly at 25 dB on low and up to 50dB on Turbo
  • Filter lasts up to 12 months with continuous use

Distribution and Delivery:

Every residential property within the program boundary will receive direct mail to the attention of the property owner(s) from the Airport, mailed to the address listed in each jurisdiction’s assessor database.

Once applications have been received and ownership verified, the Program will provide single use redemption codes to homeowners so they can order the purifier to be delivered directly to their home.

All orders will be placed by homeowners directly on Alen’s website. Ordering, shipping and receipt of air purifier units are the responsibility of homeowners.

Only one air purifier will be provided per residential unit (i.e. duplexes are eligible for two air purifiers).
